snow, you're nice and all, but can you please go?

As nice it is to see snow on the ground during winter, it is much nicer for it to go as well.

What? You're crazy, mister.

No, people that have not seen snow or have not lived in such inclement weather regions might consider me lucky for having four seasons. Yes, it is nice I agree, but let us go over on the negative side of things.

Boom, right off the bat. Roads. It is slippery. Imagine driving at the Baja 1000 but frozen, and if you're car is not equipped for it, it's like driving on a rally race with slicks.

Secondly, living in the northeastern part of the United States, or New England if you may, they don't like change. Year in year out they go through this harsh weather and year in and year out power failures occur because of frozen power lines. Why not bury the lines underground and forget about it? Do you know how cold it gets when your heater needs electricity? Answer is, you don't worry about your food on the fridge spoiling.

Then to put the cherry on top, my car that I newly purchased needs new tires for the rear. Since we though we were gonna have an early spring I didn't bother getting it replace. Was I wrong. I made it a hundred yards and it finally just stopped moving. No, the car didn't die, it's still running, it just would not go anywhere. I was doing 60mph according to the speedometer. I guess it's time to invest on some new tires.

Status = out of commission.

Luckily, I have my wife's car to compensate. All wheel drive do work around here. And yes, we are now a Nissan family.

Lastly, the worst part, shoveling. It does suck. Better drink a lot of milk for that backbone or invest on a snow blower.

So as much as I would love to live in a four season region, I would rather live somewhere with one. Little things to consider before jumping on someone's case about why they hate it.

In the end, I still enjoy living here. ;)
